Who Am I ?

About Me

My name is Billy Vera Castellanos, I entered the world of information technology in 1992, when as a student I learned to make software with LOGO, Turbo Pascal, C Language, DBase and its counterparts Clipper and FoxPro.
I have been self-taught like most of my co-workers around the world, and it has been a pleasure to participate in all kinds of personal projects, or as a developer of IT work teams; although nothing can compare to participating in I+D projects, like when in 2001 I made my first -Wireless- transmission of data from Palm OS terminals to an Oracle data server; through the Radio PacketData service.
I am currently participating in commercial projects implementing Enterprise Websites for businesses in cloud enviroments; Android Mobile Applications; Open Source ERP implementation; among other related tasks.

Billy worked from the first mobile technology projects implemented at Perufarma S.A. He implemented an innovative communication software for data transmission, and He has participated in its evolution in the last 15 years. From the first application on Palm OS, moving to Nokia phones with J2ME and finally with the Android app that we have today.
